Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to use the pre-installed Gallery app on an Android device to make a PDF file without installing any other apps:
1. Launch your Android device's Gallery app
You can view and manage all your photos and videos with this app, which is typically pre-installed on the majority of Android smartphones and tablets.
2. Find the picture or document you wish to turn into a PDF
To locate the exact file, you can navigate through your albums or folders.
3. After locating the file
Tap and hold it to choose it. The file may need to be long-pressed until it is highlighted or a menu with options displayed. On the top, you can see how many files are currently selected. See the screenshot below: "Selected (2)".
5. On the top right corner
Click on the three dots. You should notice a "Print", "Save as PDF" or "Print or export to PDF" option. Depending on the version of your Android device, the exact wording may change. Look at the screenshot here below.
6. Select "Print" or "Save as PDF" from the menu
In this example I select "Print or export to PDF". When you take this step, a preview of the document with different settings and options will open.
7. Find a "Save as PDF" or "PDF"
You could have the choice to choose a printer or modify print settings in the print preview screen.
Select "Save as PDF" or "PDF" option since we want to save the file as a PDF. Touch it.
After that, you could be asked where to save the PDF file. You can decide where you want to store the PDF file by choosing a folder or directory.
To produce the PDF file, click "Save" or "OK" at the bottom of the screen. The Gallery app will create a PDF file from the selected image or document and save it to the specified place.
You're done now! Without the need to download any extra programs, you have successfully made a PDF file from an Android device using the pre-installed Gallery app."
